First and foremost we thank the Almighty God for the far He has brought Moi high school kabarak, surely He is Ebenezer. We take this opportunity to congratulate the 2013 form four class for their outstanding performance, which made the school attain position two nationally. This is attributed to the contribution of the entire staff both Teaching and non-teaching this is the reward of hard work and commitment.
Moi High School-Kabarak's finance department is headed by the finance manager. It is divided into two sections, the general accounts and the procurement section. Over time this section has undergone several changes focused on achieving efficiency in its operations. We have moved from a manual system to a computerized system in our operations. This has enabled us to provide accurate, reliable and timely financial records.
The department operates under Local Area Network (LAN). This enables the authorized users to log in and access the student's school fees statements, fees balances and other financial records in their offices.
Currently, we are in the process of upgrading our systems in such a way parents/guardians will not need to submit the deposit slips on payment of school fees. This will be possible since once the systems are intergraded we will be able to upload school fee payments online.
The finance department is charged with the role of budgeting, planning, procure¬ment and general management of the school funds and other assets. This being a crucial task, it calls for faithful¬ness, honesty and prudence, which can only be achieved by strong personal integrity backed by the fear of God. In any organization resources is a scarce element and therefore effective control must be exercised at all times
